Articles of Faith

• The Holy Scriptures: The plenary, verbal, Divine inspiration of Scripture, consisting only of the 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament books, in the original languages, their inerrancy and infallibility, as the Word of God and the supreme and final authority in faith and life. We recognize the Textus Receptus as the authentic textual foundation for the English-speaking world. As such, we preach and teach from the Authorized King James Version; we further acknowledge the immense historical and foundational value of the 1599 Geneva Bible as being of the same faithful textual lineage and the primary translation upon which our nation was established. (Gen. 11:7-9; Psalm 56:5; 2 Pet. 3:15-16; Luke 16:17).
• The Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the Sovereign Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the Universe.
• The Person of Christ: The essential, absolute eternal Deity and sinless humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• The Virgin Birth: The virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
• The Atonement: His substitutionary, expiatory death.
• The Resurrection and Return: His resurrection from among the dead in the same body in which He was crucified, and the bodily return of this same Jesus to the earth in power and great glory to judge the earth and establish His millennial kingdom.
  
• The Blessed Hope: The “blessed hope” of the Christian in the personal, pretribulation, premillennial, and imminent coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  
• The Ministry of the Spirit: That the Holy Spirit enters, seals, and baptizes one the moment he is born into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ, and that He endues, guides, teaches, sanctifies, empowers, and keeps the believer eternally secure.
  
• Salvation by Grace: Salvation, the effect of regeneration by the Spirit and the Word, not by works but by grace through faith in the shed blood of Christ.
  
• The Indwelling Spirit: The abiding presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit in each regenerate life.
• The Covenant of Marriage: Marriage is ordained by God in which He joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union as defined in Scripture.
• Sexual Purity: That sexual union is to only occur between a man and a woman who are joined together in marriage. No sexual activity is to be engaged in outside of the marriage union of a man and a woman.

Realize that all have sinned.

• Romans 3:10: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
• Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Realize that the penalty for sin is death.

• Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Realize that Jesus paid our debt and offers forgiveness as a free gift.

• Romans 5:8-9: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

Realize that the gift of eternal life must be personally accepted.

• Romans 10:9-13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

"Dear Jesus, I realize that no one is perfect, including myself. I realize that there is a penalty for my sin, but thank you Jesus for dying in my place, and the best I know how, I am trusting you as my Savior and accepting your free gift of eternal life. Forgive my sin and save me. Thank you Jesus. Amen."
